Table Top Sale Rules
- Thank you for your interest in selling at our Table Top Sales. Please read these instructions in full.
- The sale is limited to the number of table tops available and will be allocated on a ‘first come, first served’ basis via completion of the booking form and receipt of payment. Payment is non-refundable.
- Your booking is not complete until you have received email (phone if no email address) confirmation from Victoria Hall.
- A minimum of one adult per table is required at all times.
- Stall holders will be allowed access from 1.25 p.m.
- Set up of stalls must be completed no later than 1.55 p.m.
- Public will be admitted from 2 p.m.
- Doors will close to the public at 4 p.m. and clearing up must be completed by 5 p.m.
- Table tops are priced at £8 for private and £16 for commercial vendors per table. Fees must be paid in advance.
- Tables will be 1.52m long x 76.5cm wide x 76cm in height. You may also have a maximum of 1 clothing rail (not provided) on display at the side of your stall.
- Items must be clean and in good condition. Sellers will be requested to remove all dirty/worn out items from sale.
- All sellers should familiarise themselves with local Trading Standards advice on what can/cannot be sold. In addition, the following items are not to be sold:
- No food unless authorised by the Hall Assistant in writing (to be brought with you on the day)
- Crash or bicycle helmets
- Car seats for children
- No flammable liquids i.e. paint strippers, turpentine, lighter fluid etc.
- No natural gas or electrical items (battery powered items excluded)
- Faulty or incomplete goods
- No animals or live stock
- It is your responsibility to price your goods and to take home all unsold items and any rubbish at the end of the sale. Alternately, rubbish can be disposed of at a cost of £5 per rubbish bag.
- The sale organisers, Victoria Hall Community Trust, will monitor the sale at all times and can reject items deemed unsuitable.
- If a seller does not comply with the above rules, Victoria Hall Community Trust reserves the right to refuse sale of their items at the sale or future sales organised by Victoria Hall.
- Victoria Hall Community Trust accepts no responsibility or liability for the quality or condition of items purchased at this event. Purchases are made entirely at the individual’s own risk.
- Victoria Hall Community Trust accepts no responsibility for sellers’ or buyers’ property on the sale day and accepts no liability for loss or damage.
- Table Top Sales are organised by Victoria Hall Community Trust who may take photographs for post-event PR and promoting future events. Please let us know if you have any concerns regarding being photographed.
