Victoria Hall Community Trust is delighted to be presenting events as part of National Heritage Open Days and Wirral History & Heritage Open Days 2018.
Join us for a programme of local history talks and film screenings in the historical surroundings of Higher Bebington’s Victoria Hall. An ‘arts and crafts’ style building founded in Queen Victoria’s Diamond Jubilee year of 1897 on land donated by Catherine King, and where The Beatles played in 1962.

Film Night: Bebington on Film - an evening of screenings that look back over the years from the early part of last century towards the present day. The Borough of Bebington was established in 1937 to include Higher and Lower Bebington, New Ferry, Port Sunlight, Thornton Hough, Bromborough & Eastham and in 1974 became part of the new Metropolitan Borough of Wirral. Rare footage of scenes from the different districts is included in a unique programme of nostalgia and events you never knew about. Presented in partnership with Swan Movie Makers Wirral.
